The Music Department resides in the beautiful Williams Center for the Arts. Built in 1983, the Williams Center also houses the art gallery and College Theater productions as well as art history faculty.

Music facilities include:

  • large and small rehearsal rooms (for band, chorus, orchestra, and other ensembles)
  • individual practice rooms (equipped with pianos)
  • 10-seat digital piano lab
  • a non-circulating music library consisting of  CDs, LP recordings, videos, and study scores
  • a 400-seat concert hall/theater
  • a Japanese musical instrument collection
  • West African drums and other ethnic instruments
  • a large inventory of band and orchestra instruments
