The program is designed to bring professional musicians to campus to teach and perform with students in music courses, and to perform in their own concert as part of the Performance Series.

The Artist in Residence program was established in 1986 by Lafayette College alumnus Alan Pesky and his wife Wendy. The program is designed to bring professional musicians to campus to teach and perform with students in the music department, and to perform in their own concert as part of the performance series. The Pesky Artist in Residence Program helps to ensure that the College can welcome a variety of musicians to campus, providing exceptional learning opportunities for our students, and the time and space for the artists to focus on creative practice and the freedom to explore, experiment, create, and collaborate.
