Percussion Ensemble
Students from all disciplines enjoy studying and performing a variety of percussion music from around the globe.
Recent performances have included music from West Africa, Bali, Japan, Latin America, and a number of contemporary styles and genres from jazz to J-pop. Students have access to the Music Department’s large collection of instruments and have the opportunity to perform throughout the year.
Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings from 6:30-8:30, and on Friday afternoons. Students may enroll for 1/4-credit: Music 158.
The ensemble is directed by Professor Wells.
